GALLERY

The gallery space is the main event. We believe in bringing in as much art as possible, and providing opportunity for people to exhibit their work. 

The Stoneleigh Arms will not be the stark white walled art space of old. It will be warm and welcoming, avoiding the intimidating atmosphere of some others. The Stoneleigh Arms will become a living, breathing arts space and cultural destination, showcasing the incredible array of talent that we have in Leamington Spa and the surrounding areas; and the gallery is its beating heart.

The main gallery floor will host our regular exhibitions of work by local artist members, who submit to a theme. We do not have a “gatekeeping” approach, but believe that through excellent curating and hanging, we can host a wide array of styles and technical abilities, allowing for more variety and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. All work is available for sale, with a low commission rate of just 20%, which is much lower than commercial galleries.

We will also have hireable gallery space, allowing for artists to show a collection of work. There will also be room for artists in residence, which we find is an amazing way to engage with the public, who can see artists at work.
