The Stoneleigh Arms is a space for sharing skills, building community, and celebrating creativity in all forms. Whether you're a professional artist, a passionate maker, or someone with a brilliant idea for a class — we’d love to help you bring it to life.

Who Can Run a Workshop?

Anyone! You don’t need to be a full-time artist or educator. If you’ve got something to share, we’ll support you in making it happen — from life drawing and pottery to zine-making and embroidery.

Two Ways to Host a Workshop

1. Become an Artist Member

Best value for regular tutors and artists who want to be part of our community. This gives you a better rate when running workshops, as well as lots more benefits. See our Artist Members for more details.

Running workshops with Artist Membership (£25/month) includes:

  • Discounted space hire
  • Promotion of your classes via our website, mailing list & social media
  • Use of our booking & payment systems
  • Free exhibition and selling opportunities
  • Access to our tools and materials
  • A profile on our website to showcase your work

2. Guest Tutor

Don’t want to commit to membership just yet? No problem. You can still run a class as a Guest Tutor — perfect for one-offs or specialists.

We offer three flexible options:

🕐 Option 1: Non-Member Host Fee

Pay a flat admin fee or higher hourly hire rate.

Example:

  • Artist Member rate: £20/hour
  • Guest Tutor rate: £30/hour or +£25–£40 admin fee per booking

Includes:

  • Use of the space
  • Access to our booking and payment system
  • Basic marketing support

💸 Option 2: Higher Commission Split

We take a slightly higher cut of ticket sales.

Example:

  • Members: 70/30 split (you keep 70%)
  • Non-members: 60/40 split

This option keeps upfront costs low — we only earn when you do.

 Option 3: Guest Pass

You can run up a limited number of workshops at a special guest rate.

After that, we’ll ask you to join as a member to continue running sessions.

Ideal for one-off or occasional tutors, visiting artists, and pilot sessions.
