This hands-on course introduces complete beginners to the potter's wheel. Over six weeks, you'll learn the fundamentals of centering, opening, and shaping clay to create a range of functional pieces.

Each session will guide you through:

• Centering clay on the wheel and basic throwing techniques • Creating cylinders, bowls, and other basic forms

• Trimming and finishing techniques

• Understanding clay consistency and troubleshooting common issues

• Glazing basics and finishing your work

No previous experience necessary – just come ready to embrace the learning curve and enjoy the process.

All materials and tools provided.

You'll leave with a collection of finished pieces and the foundation skills to continue developing your throwing practice.
